By Lala Lovera – A voice advocating for integration.
Thousands of stories are held by those who cross borders—stories of resilience, farewells, separations, abandoned dreams, hope, and goals to conquer.
Migration has become an increasingly significant global phenomenon, driven by conflicts, economic crises, and political changes, pushing thousands across borders in search of new opportunities. The Venezuelan case, with millions migrating to neighboring countries like Colombia, illustrates the scope and complexity of this challenge.
In response, it’s essential to recognize the dignity and human rights of those seeking refuge and opportunities. At Fundación Comparte, we advocate for active listening and mutual recognition to foster integration in host communities. By promoting communication and respect for human dignity, we create spaces for reflection that catalyze social change.
With this purpose, we’re pleased to present Voces que Transforman, a blog where young people and others share their stories of resilience and their fight for a better country. This platform not only aims to spotlight the experiences of those facing migration challenges but also to give voice and recognition to those tirelessly building a more inclusive and just future.
